“In Search of Better Skies”: A Green Library Event with Jennifer Neal
Online reading, Englisch-language event with registration.
The Green Library series invites creative writers living in and around Berlin to read and perform their work. It aims to create a space for discussions about nature and the environment. In line with Poco. Lit.’s broader aims, the series strives to draw forward lesser-heard voices and perspectives, particularly from the global South and People of Colour.
On July 8th at 8pm, poco.lit. and Jennifer Neal will talk about her short story “In Search of Better Skies”, nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2019 and published with The Willowherb Review, as well as her first novel (coming soon!). Jennifer Neal is an American/Australian artist, musician, writer, cook, and sometimes standup comedian. Check out her website here.
The event takes place via the online platform Zoom. Participation is free, but registration is required. If you send an email to pocolitinfo@gmail.com you will receive the link to the Zoom meeting. You can participate from the comfort of your own home by mobile phone or computer and ask your questions in the chat.
After the event, a transcription of the conversation will be published in English and German on pocolit.com.
The Green Library event series is supported by the Berlin Senate.
